Not much. Yet. Planning to work some overtime tonight. Henk didn't reply to my mail, but hopefully I can sleep at his place tonight. If not, I go home, it's not a big deal.

Very sunny today. Still wearing the tight pants ... ouch. When I look outside the traffic jam on the A16 is enormous. I hope Gerard is not right in the middle of it.

Nearly forgot, uploaded some photos of our last holiday ! Nothing spectacular, but we had a good time, although it was only a mid-week.

Had a nice weekend. Allthough I didn't really sleep well the last nights, Fran kept waking me up with her coughing. Saturday after lunch we went to my Mom by bus and train. She picked us up from the train station with her car. It went well, no delays and I got to see the station of Tiel again. Ok, not too many changes, but in the main part of the building a new cafe was built. Looks ok. And Tiel got an extra train stop: Tiel Passewaaij.

Quicker than last Friday. Sitting next to some very annoying loud speaking persons. Yek !

Can't think straight ... too much distraction. Anyway coming weekend we are going to my mom's to celibrate fathersday. So, pretty much of the weekend is already setup. Shopping, bus, train, etc.

Put my headphoneplugs in, playing Satriani at the loudest volume possible to push out the noise of the terrible two next to me. Almost want to describe how repulsive they are ...

Didn't go to bed early enough last night. When Fran came home from badminton I wasn't sound asleep, so it was well past 23:00 before I got some shut-eye. So .... feeling not too awake right now. And there is so much to do at work. Have to finish the Opera 3D model of the LS ... not all very easy.

A non-standard week: monday I stayed home because the central heating was serviced and Franny had to attend a meeting at Hannah's school. Yesterday I felt terrible so I called in sick. I'm feeling a little bit better now and here I am in the train to Delft.

And I'm late ! Oops. I was working on a simulation of which the result was needed for a meeting. The meeting was still ongoing when I finished it. This all meant I'm late ... a good 1.5 hour late. Which is not exactly ok, because I forgot Fran is giving her first English lesson tonight at 19:00. I'll arrive (if everything goes well) at home at 18:45. So I'll keep my fingers crossed. Very busy now in the train. I'm in the front train section, just behind the locomotive. And ... just left Rotterdam and already our first unscheduled stop ... aarghh. Just after station Rotterdam Zuid.

I woke up at 3:30 thinking, wow, still have approx. 1.5 hours of sleep left ! Then my phone woke me up at 5:00 ... somehow the radio alarm clock didn't go off at 4:50 ! hmmm, not good. Still made it in time for the train, but hurrying in the morning is not my cup of tea. Of course I had time enough to make my coffee for in the thermos, make some sandwiches, pack apples etc. So nothing really happened, except my fallback system had to wake me up. And yesterday I was thinking: oh, why bother so much, am I really that paranoid with all these backups ?

The weather quite ok today again. It was hot in our bedroom last night. Sleeping with the fan on is not something I'm very fond of, but without AC there are not much alternatives.
