Deze pagina gaat over mijn uitzending naar Simin-Han, een klein plaatsje onder de rook van de tweede stad van Bosnië, ik maakte deel uit van Alpha compagnie Dutchbat IV Griffin, wat was opgebouwd uit personeel van voornamelijk de Alfa compagnie van 42ste Pantserinfanterie bataljon Limburgse Jagers welke gestationeerd zijn in Seedorf (duitsland).

Rotatie T5, waarover deze site gaat, is in april 1993 in opleiding gegaan op het Centrum Voor Vredesmachten te Harskamp. Deze ijlings opgebouwde eenheid verzorgde de algehele opleidng voor uit te zenden eenheden naar BiH. Niet alleen het Nederlandse Transportbataljon maar ook het Nederlandse Verbindingsbataljon UNPROFOR werden hier opgeleid.
